I am posting some short youtube videos here on salvation for us to discuss.

I intend to post them daily if possible. This gives us a chance to look at each topic.

"Salvation is giving your life to Jesus Christ"

Agreed that this is wrong. Salvation is receiving the gift that Jesus gave by giving His life in atoning sacrifice for us.

Praise God when I first had a revelation that I was a new creation, a saint not just a sinner saved by grace, it was revolutionary for me, I grew up hearing folk say I'm just a sinner saved by grace - no the old has gone we are made righteous, not of our own merit, but the blood of Jesus has cleansed us from all sin and by His blood we will overcome.

So far - I'm nodding along with what he is saying. Mostly it's cleaning up our slang terminology - not out and out "lies". I like that it's short and sweet - two min sermons.

Yep I agree not so much lies but bringing clarity to a lot of things we as Christians tend to say per rote without giving enough explanation and the full meaning of.

I can't fully agree with this, I believe thee is truth in what he says but he should not reject this

Unbelief is a sin - therefore the Holy Spirit will convict them of sins.
