Who We Are

Ruach Fellowship is a group of believers in Jesus Christ, who have gathered together to

  • Study the bible - from an orthodox evangelical and sometimes charismatic viewpoint.
  • Pray together - sharing our requests and our thanksgiving at answered prayer.
  • Fellowship - joke and laugh, tell stories and stay in contact with each other.
  • Discuss - issues of the day, whether in national news or news about Christianity.

We are a relatively small forum, but in many ways that works to our advantage.  We like to think of ourselves as an online homegroup bible study where people get to know each other and become lifelong friends.

What We Are Not

We are not a debate forum.  There are other forums that host debates on creationism, KJV only, eternal security, Calvanism vs Arminism, etc. where people write hundreds of posts and only convince themselves that they are right.  We don't do that.  Friendly discussions however, are encouraged.

We are not a "crucify the latest Christian celebrity" forum either.  While issues concerning doctrine or practice may come up, we focus more on why the doctrine or practice is biblically wrong rather than just simply yelling "John Doe is a heretic!!"

We are not a political forum.  While issues come up whenever there is a big election or national news happens and people will always have an opinion - we are not here to host your 20 posts per day on why one particular political view is correct.

A Note About Free Speech

Free speech means that you have the right to say whatever you want to on your own forum or blog.  People are free to join your forum or blog if they so choose.  Free speech does NOT mean that you can come onto our forum and say whatever you want.  To that end, we do moderate our forum and we have an excellent team of admins and moderators here at Ruach Fellowship!
